When You Need Drywall Hole Repair in Orlando

Holes don't fix themselves. In Orlando's humid air, they get worse fast. Water soaks into the drywall paper. This makes soft, crumbly edges around the hole. We've seen small doorknob dings turn into big repairs after a rainy summer. Movers, kids, furniture, and a loose doorstop can punch a wall fast. If the hole is near a window or outside wall, check for water stains too. Picking the right filler matters just as much as the patch[1]. Don't wait until the edges crumble or the hole gets bigger.

Common Holes

Doorknob Holes

A door swings too hard and punches through the wall. We fix these fast, all the time.

Moving Damage

Furniture and boxes bump into corners during a move. We patch dents before you settle in.

Nail and Screw Holes

Old picture holes or anchor marks left by the last owner. We fill, sand, and match the paint.

Large Impact Holes

A fist, a chair, or a toy can leave a big mess. We cut in a patch and blend it in.

Water-Softened Spots

Humid air and old leaks soften drywall near a hole. We swap out the weak part so it holds.

Termite Exit Holes

Bug treatment can expose bad drywall near Lake Apopka homes. We cut out the bad part and fix it right.

Simple Steps

How Drywall Hole Repair Works

We keep things simple. You'll know what to expect from start to finish.

1

We Look at the Damage

We check the hole's size. We look for water or soft spots nearby. This tells us if it's a quick fix or a bigger job.

2

We Patch and Match

We cut in new drywall if needed, tape the seams, and add joint compound. Then we match your wall's texture so it blends in.

3

We Finish and Clean Up

Once it's dry and sanded smooth, we add primer so it's ready for paint. We sweep up and haul away the mess before we go.

Fair Pricing

Drywall Hole Repair Cost in Orlando

Price depends on the hole's size. It also depends on how many spots need a patch. You'll pay more if there's water or bug damage behind the wall. A small doorknob hole costs less than a patch near a leaky window. Humid Orlando summers can soften drywall edges. This sometimes means fixing more than just the hole. Spackle works fine for tiny holes, but bigger ones need joint compound or mesh patches to hold up[1]. We give you a clear price before we start. No guessing games.

✓ You get a price before any work starts.
✓ No hidden fees added once we start.
✓ You say yes to the price before we touch the wall.
Typical price range
$125 - $450
Small holes under a fist size cost less to patch.
Many holes fixed in one visit can lower the cost per hole.
Water or bug damage adds more time and cost.
Matching popcorn or knockdown texture takes extra care.

I am writing to highly recommend Dale for any home improvement or renovation needs.

After he completed a small repair for me with excellent results, I brought him back for a much larger project: a complete remodel of our kitchen, family room, and dining room. This included a full dry texture and new knockdown throughout the great room.

The quality of his work is fantastic. Dale is now my go-to professional for such projects, and I recommend him without reservation.

Look no further. Absolute perfectionist! Texting walls with knockdown is a skill. Dale did an amazing job repairing ceiling damage and blending it exactly like the rest of the ceiling. Nice guy, hard working, dedicated, and cleaned up after himself. Would definitely hire for any repairs/projects.

Called these guys after some tenants left a bunch of holes throughout the property. They did an all out amazing job!! The crew showed up as scheduled, was extremely clean, if you’ve ever been around drywall work you know how messy it can get. They made sure everything was protected properly and left cleaner than it was originally. When they were done you couldn’t tell that anything ever happened. These guys are best in the business!!!

Quick Answers

Drywall Hole Repair Questions

Here are answers to what Orlando homeowners ask us most.

  • How much does drywall hole repair cost in Orlando?

Most small holes cost $125 to $450. The price depends on size and texture match. Bigger holes or water damage cost more. We always give you a price first.

  • How long does it take to fix a hole in drywall?

A small hole takes one visit, often an hour or two. Bigger holes may need a second visit. This lets the joint compound dry fully. We'll tell you the timeline first.

  • Can I patch a drywall hole myself?

Small nail holes are easy to fix with spackle. But big holes need framing, tape, and texture work. A bad patch often shows through paint. We fix a lot of DIY tries.

  • How often do Orlando homes need drywall hole repair?

It depends, but humid air and bugs make it common here. Homes near Lake Apopka with termites see repeat damage. Moving, kids, and pets also keep us busy all year.

  • Is a drywall hole urgent to fix?

Yes, mostly in Orlando's humid air. An open hole lets moisture into the wall. It softens the edges fast. The longer you wait, the bigger the fix gets.

  • What are signs a hole needs more than a patch?

Soft, crumbly edges or a musty smell mean water is behind the wall. Bug trails or sawdust mean pest damage. In both cases, we check behind the wall first.

  • Will the patch match my wall's texture?

Yes, we match knockdown, popcorn, or smooth walls. Many Ocoee and Orlando homes from the 1990s and 2000s have knockdown texture. We match it by hand. We also match the paint sheen so the spot blends in.
